Lock plate depressor removes Steering wheels of most domestic and imported vehicles, with or without telescoping tilt steering columns. Includes steering wheel puller, five sets of cap screws needed for the various thread requirements. Steering wheel lock plate compressor for removal and installation of snap ring. It accesses the turn signal switch and S.I.R. modules on current GM vehicles. Also works on older GM, AMC, and Chrysler vehicles with tilt or conventional steering columns. Cap screws 3/8-16 x 3-1/2; 5/16-18 x 4-1/2; 5/16-24 x 3-1/2; M8-1.25 x 90mm. Also works on Chev Lumina, Pontiac Grand Prix, Olds Cutlass Supreme, and Buick Regal where the steering wheel is equipped with redundant entertainment and climate control circuit board.
